I can't see anywhere that he disavows his opinion which starts "A large part of me culture: humor and satire still believes etc. " Others seem to have read/ culture: humor and satire interpreted his comments differently. Maybe Mr. Cannon would like to come back and tell us what he *really* meant.To me, being a liberal does not = being a Democrat, or supporting every one of their policies. I got bitch-kicked on another thread when I had some nasty words to say about Kerry -- not by regular BBers, but by a Kerry supporter who calls herself (elsewhere) kerrygoddess, who dropped in for a drive-by shooting. I checked out some of her postings on her very own blog, and I see that those of us who may have once supported Kerry (and presumably other dimocrats) are considered "far left" and not with the program. I didn't need this to stop considering myself a Democrat, that I already had, but it did open my eyes to how nasty some of these dims can be.
