The "struggle" between "the paul brogren post he didn't write" and "the post he actually wrote" is emblematic of the struggle each of us must make to choose between propaganda and truth; the vicious government propaganda makes us want to see ourselves as divided into red and blue. It's easy to slip into that trap and start thinking that way ... that we're blue and they're red ... so screw them! ... unless you struggle and remail vigilant and think hard about lies you thought were truths ... and eventually you may find that your sense paul brogren of humanity paul brogren is more powerful than the pull of the nonstop propaganda machine ... which is what we are all hoping for anyway, I think ... that's the way I read it, anyway, and Joseph would be more than welcome to come along and correct me... I notice that my friend Torqued disagrees with me on this, as does Superwoman; that's your right and I respect your opinions even though I happen to disagree.
