| We have the same arguments about windfarms etc. which JTM is talking about.So my take is that we Europeans probably like to hear our politicians talk about action, but are actually pretty bad at doing much about it. In the political US, it seems like you prefer your politicians to be more up-front about not doing anything. I'm not sure this is better mind: Europe is *slowly* making action, whereas it feels like the US is actually going backwards...One thing which does puzzle me about political the political US is that you also seem to have pretty laz pollution controls, even where change would measurably improve air quality locally, reduce smog etc. Surely there isn't much debate about this being a Good Thing, is there?Anyway, just a few thoughts, --Matt mckennma Wise, Aged Ars Veteran Tribus: St. Clair Shores, Mi.
