You're right there are some things I didn't include, the cost of salt and pepper for basic seasonings, etc. |

| You'll still pictures have lots of potatoes left (not nutritionally void btw, if not eaten in french fry form.) This can all pictures be cooked ahead of time with very little prep. Half the price of the fast-food meals. I think people that think fast food=cheaper have A) never been poor pictures (you get awfully good at stretching food out) and B) don't know how to cook. And you didn't include spices, condiments, cooking oil, utensils, etc. I could eat plain chicken, potatoes, and green beans for one meal, but I'd end up either throwing out the leftovers or dressing them up (with more ingredients=more cost and more trips to the store). |
