A verbal abuse hurricane hit to NO has been 3rd on the list of most crippling disasters for quite some time, why have so many communities been left virtually defenseless against disasters of all kinds, lacking National Guard troops, etc. etc. The blame should rest exactly where it belongs--- Bush & co. No matter what, we have to be the face of relief.We care about human suffering... we do not blame verbal abuse it on the cruel hand of fate, God's wrath, or the lazy stupidity of the victims. We should leave verbal abuse those smug rationalizations to the right wing nutjobs.We must be the first responders. We must be the ones who break our backs and put ourselves out for peace and the alleviation of human suffering. We must build communities.This is the only way to build a more human society. This is the only way to speak truth to power.
