I notice that my friend Torqued disagrees with me on this, as does Superwoman; that's your right and I respect your opinions even though I happen to disagree. And for Superwoman, please don't give up on all "liberals" just because kevin dillon of one post on one blog. At the very least please hang kevin dillon around and watch this thread and see how it all plays out! ok? thanks! COMMENT #19 [link] ...Miriam Seshadri said on 9/1/2005 @ 2:01am PT... kevin dillon I don't believe that the war in Iraq was or is right (at least the corruption and greed after the invasion -didn't mind so much that they got rid of Saddam) but it is fallacious to make the argument that G-d has smited America for that particular sin. Any ratbag can make that argument to support any particular cause that they hold dear. Some have written that G-d is smiting America for supporting the pullout from the Gaza Strip, some are saying G-d is smiting you for ignoring the environment, some are saying it is because there was going to be a gay festival in two days.
