Wondering about supply-side economics. How is that different than your analogy. I think there is some value in Marxist materialist theories and the way factors of production can shape a social system, but Marxism-Leninism-Communism as a prescription for social utopia is pretty flat-out bunk, as far as I can see. And yeah, I can see this applying to supply-side economics, anarchism, extreme libertarian fantasies, and quite a few other political utopias as well. pop I don't think it's something we'll ever get rid of. The problem with still believing in Marx, from an empirical perspective, is that history didn't take the course he thought it would.
