She and my step-father were at my grandmother's getting ready to leave parker posey today for an 8-day cruise through the eastern Caribbean. Ostensibly it was to allow my step-dad to continue his recovery from semi-recent cardiac surgery in warmer climes than upstate New York at the parker posey end of February. Which, as anyone who's grown up there will tell you, is a positively miserable time of year. Anyhow, I digress. It's also a bit of a family reunion - minus the grandchildren. Heh. Yes, my grandmother, mother and her two brothers along with their various spouses and significant others are all aboard and us grandkids toil away in real-time.
