What else....I got my letter from the state that my LPN application had been processed and I should expect to receive my permission to test very soon. I'm looking at this as great practice for the RN exam so I can't wait to get it done, whether I pass or not. Most important, yesterday was the first day in about 10 that my lungs were uncabaret nearly wheeze-free. I had very little difficulty uncabaret breathing and sounded pretty much normal. My cough even sounds uncabaret less like that of a 25-year smoker and more like a nice, dry, random cough. Better living through modern chemicals. On my way home from class, every train seemed to be waiting for me as I pulled into the station to transfer. I'm sure it's just my imagination but it all added up to the impression that it was just one of those rare days where everything goes perfectly. |

Yesterday was a good day indeed. All sorts of good fortune from the tiny to the grand. For starters, the cardiac exam was a much bigger success for me than I imagined. According to those who took med-surg last semester and in previous years, this was supposed to be the most difficult exam. Not so. I missed an A- by exactly 1 point. 1. Ah well. I won't look a gift horse in the mouth. I expected to do much worse since it's not my favourite subject. |
