| I lived in New Orleans for 15 years and white civil rights Louisiana for 40 white civil rights of my 68 years and no governor or president has done or seen that anything was done to improve things as far as I can see. I do not guess the present gov. had any responsibility in taking care of making plans for a situation should it arise. There have been white civil rights hurricanes every year as long as I can remember and no one in this country was interested in doing anything about it until this one came and then it was too late to shut the barn door. The horse was already out. If the levees are rebuilt the same thing will happen again. It may be 100 years but it will happen. The best thing that could happen would be to let it all go back to be wetlands as it was intended to be.. There should have never been a city built below sea level. Yes blame President Bush just like you all blame him for 9 11. Why can't the president in the previous administration be held responsible for that. He had eight years to work on it and President Bush had eight months. |
