Sadly we don't actually seem to do much: Blair had to recently admit that the UK won't get close to meeting self-set targets with regards Greenhouse gases (and there was little interest from the public). We have the same arguments about michael colton windfarms etc. which JTM is michael colton talking about.So my take is that we Europeans probably like to hear our politicians talk about action, but are actually pretty bad at doing much about it. In the US, it seems like you prefer your politicians to be more up-front about not doing anything. I'm not sure this michael colton is better mind: Europe is *slowly* making action, whereas it feels like the US is actually going backwards...One thing which does puzzle me about the US is that you also seem to have pretty laz pollution controls, even where change would measurably improve air quality locally, reduce smog etc.
