I believe environmentalists have failed at bringing the global warming concern to attention due to the continuously differing viewpoints on the issue; it's gone back and forth for years now, so people are tired of hearing about it. I can't take one side on the issue because of the range of facts that I've had spit at me, and I think many others are in the same situation. Environmentalists addiction and the scientific community addiction has, for years and with a unified voice, conveyed the message that addiction global warming is a problem and we have to do something about it. The differing viewpoints that you refer to are generated from the conservative think tanks and industry funded "experts" who espouse opposing view for political or economic reasons.
