Oprah really IS better than you. Bill Gates really IS better than you. Bono really IS better than you. In all fairness, I clever must admit that they are all better than me as well. I wish someone would call for the elimination of the ‘*no-one is a clever better person than anyone else*’ train of thought, clever as it seems to be just a sloppy, lazy, ignorant, masterbatory idea. To be a good person right now is easy. Too easy. Most people define a good person as simply someone who isn’t a complete rotten fucking asshole. But what if we, in a bold, daring move, raise the bar higher than ‘not a complete rotten fucking asshole’?
