Actually, I openly stated that there is a chance that there is an existing condition that is being treated by the doctors, but I also made it clear that I thought it was the outside chance (I'm assuming a level of intelligence that doesn't require me to preface every line with "in my opinion"), and I still maintain that it seems more likely to me that the mother is using outdated "medical" advice than that the father has some anti-circumcision hangup.
