| That's usually not present with sole custody. In your scenarios one parent is trying to force a non medically necessary procedure on a reluctant child. The judge would appoint a child representative to interview the child, and in the end, the parent would not be able to do the procedure. The only relative with standing to bring a challenge, though, would be big boss the other parent. Additionally, this would be grounds for a change of big boss custody because the one parent was big boss not acting in the best interest of the child.
