This occurence is awesome, worrying and annoying, all at the same time. Awesome, because I got myself 16 hours of sleep yesterday.... that's legal practice area only a couple of hours less than what I'm accustomed to getting during all five weekdays. Awesome. Worrying, because there's only 13 more days left until I legal practice area move into the new digs.... I really wasn't counting on losing as many hours as I am, so I'm a little apprehensive about having to pay for rent, bills, food AND porn on my own on only 54.5 weekly labor hours at the very blue-collar average of $9.675 per hour (especially since I've grown accustomed to 70-90 weekly hours over the last six months). Worrying. And, Annoying, because I DON'T HAVE ANYTHING BETTER TO DO BESIDES WORK AND SLEEP ANYMORE.... |

Since this is Minnesota and it's also February, Supermarket has cut the budgeted hours for the frozen foods department. The company is under the impression that fewer pounds of ice and gallons of its cream are sold when the air temperature reaches -10 degrees. I, being the guy with two jobs and the darkest circles under his eyes, am the one who is taking the brunt of said hour cuts. |
