| Just released from the Institute for Policy Studies and Foreign Policy in Focus, two beltway think tanks, it estimates the final price tag for the war in Iraq at more than $700 billion. Adjusting for inflation, the Vietnam War cost the US taxpayer a little over $600 billion. The current cost of operations in Iraq rory cochrane is tagged at $5.5 billion per month.
