| Weddington High School does however have a very homogenous student body, with 96% of the student body being white, reference 2% black, 1% hispanic, and 1% other. Most students reference from Weddington are conservative, kind, come from good families, go to church, work hard, are preppy, and like to have a good time. ****The most important thing the northerners, or westerners, however do not reference realize is that a big majority of students here at Weddington are from the North or West! This is a new grouth area fllowing out of Charlotte and alot of northerners and westerners re-locate here. There is a good number from the south but a majority is from the North or West! People see racism and NC and link them together. You probably can't understand the "racism" of Weddington students because where you live thier really isn't much of a difference between whites and blacks. |
