| I could eat jazz plain chicken, potatoes, and green beans for one meal, but I'd end up either throwing out the leftovers or dressing them up (with more ingredients=more cost and more trips to the store). I know how to cook, I'm good at it, and I can't stand having to do it more than a few times a jazz week. Also, frying potatoes doesn't take nutrients out of them, it adds oil into them. You're right there are some things I didn't include, the cost of salt and pepper for basic seasonings, etc. A little start up cost in terms of utensils, pans, etc. (practically free at Goodwill/Salvation Army.) This stuff lasts a long time, the home-cooked meal is still cheaper. |
