If four people go out to eat at Mickey D's, and order off the value menu, a sandwich, fries and drink cost what, $2.99 to 3.99? Say $2.99. So the meal costs $12 plus tax. A person could buy a whole chicken for $5, a pound of fresh green beans for $2, 5 lbs of potatoes for $2.50,
