Inflation is bad for the bond holding classes, but for most everyone else some tenure inflation is a good thing. It reduces debts, it even helps most corporations. Hyperinflation is obviously bad, but a little inflation is pretty good a lot sometimes.

The economy is doing ok because Bush and the rest of the politicians have handed out the online music corporate welfare like water, so GDP, and online music other things are ok, but poverty is growing, and for some reason each month when the employment numbers come in people don't want to mention the overall gain in online music jobs, we need something like 150,000 new jobs just to keep up with the new workers who hit the market. So, from what I've seen we haven't reached that magic number too many months over the last few years, and that could help explain why we see more poverty, it may not just be a ripple.
