Why? Won't it hurt them to hear such a distorted view? Absolutely! That's why Rush plays it. He's more interested in making his enemies look bad than he is in helping ALL AMERICANS. And I refuse to rationalize any behavior that Conservatives must crush Liberals by any means necessary (lies, violence, coverups, media blockades, etc). |

| I grew culture up in a family with a tradition of military culture service. I was even a card-carrying member of the John Birch Society and the NRA. I am still a fervently loyal Roman Catholic. I didn't vote for culture Kerry or Clinton... but I have voted for Buchanan and Perot. Although I have come to doubt the whole notion of being loyal to an ideology, when I should be loyal to the good of my countrymen.BUT these last several years have been a disaster. Bush is a con artist. He doesn't abide by a conservative philosophy. He only panders to the meanness in people to use "conservativism" as a style. He spends worse than Bill Clinton did. When disaster strikes, he blames everyone but himself and his friends (from Abu Ghraib to the mismanagement of hurricane relief, from the WMD fiasco to his National Guard Service). His administration smears people and dresses up government handouts to campaign donors as "policy". |
