I am fairly confident that at least the first floor was flooded of the duplex I was jarhead(widescreen edition) renting, if the house did not collapse from the wind. So jarhead(widescreen edition) I only lost hopefully half of my stuff. I will be out of work for jarhead(widescreen edition) 2 months, and am now typing on this blog over a 56K modem....sucks. So I think I earned the right to tell you why Bush has earned the title of Supreme Jackass to me over this catastrophe. About 8 months ago when congress was passing the energy bill to fatten the pockets of their rich friends, two Senators from Louisiana, Sen. Landriu and Sen. Vitter were fighting for an amendment to the Bill. This amendment was to give the state of Louisiana 2-3% of the oil royalties for oil coming through Louisiana infrastructure. ( Note: States that have oil produced on their land have royalties of 50% or higher).
