I’m sure the idiots on here throwing that label around have never heard of Gil Scott-Heron, but he was a late-’60s, early ‘70s black spoken word artist – his piece “The Revolution Will Not Be Televised” is pretty well known. This is another good one from him: ‘Brother’ by Gil Scott-Heron (1972) We deal in too many externals brother.
