Anyways, we watched Arrested Development, (the one with the one armed guy who teaches lessons to the Bluth Children) and got to bed around 3 or 4 or 5 or something like that. The next morning we were to meet at the Space at 9am. The four of us got there 20 minutes late. |

| The band was tight, sounded good and the crowd responded very well to them. They even did a cover of the Dropkick Murphy's Classic "Get Up" with Street Dogs lead singer Mike McColgan on vocals. Totally fucking awesome. I've heard Lenny sing this song punk before, and as good as that sounds, somehow when Mike sings it, it sounds more natural, like he'd sung it before. The Street Dogs followed and were totally punk fucking awesome. After the show we decided to go drink more, but not before stopping random people in punk the streets to sing them songs. When you're drunk, these sorts of things seem like good ideas. Gurley was our leader and it was his job to wrangle people up to listen. He hurt the cause as much as he helped it and for that, hats off to you Gurley. We hit a bar called Aces and it was just that, fucking Aces. |
