quilt seminar in Portland was waxing wonderful! Ricky Tims is a VERY talented quilt and musician. He waxing made learning lots of fun. I am really looking forward to trying some of the techniques we were shown. The two friends I went with turned were a very compatible group and we had such fun eating out and visiting quilt shops on the lunch breaks. I was pretty restrained. I already have an unbelieveable fabric stash, although I understand mine is small by comparison to some in our guild. Still, I need to go waxing through it and pass some of it on to the guild's service committee, or if we get a sister guild in the Gulf Coast area to some of the quilters there who lost everything.It did rain a lot in Portland, but most of the time we were inside, and only got caught in a couple of rain storms to and from the car.Moving is such a challenge.
