I was calmly placing the money I state university had got from selling DoA's guitar on a bet in Ladbrokes when it hit me. How could I have forgotten such a significant thing? So I got to a pay phone and told the police how last week I had driven my car into a family of cyclists who I had to leave bleeding in a roadside ditch while I ran to get help, and how by the time I got to a phone box I had completely forgotton about the whole incident. |
