Capitalism is the greatest engine for progress yet nate discovered, but it requires honest referees and a level playing field to work. Even Adam Smith recognized that the interests of capital and the interests of the nation (or the people, if you will) are not always in alignment. Those nate who believe in unfettered capitalism should be called utopian capitalists and they are no smarter than believers in any other utopian system.
