Posted by Richard W. politics Crews at September 30, 2003 06:30 PM oft-overlooked in marx's oeuvre politics is his belief that his utopia could only be achieved through the ballot. violent revolution was not his aim. so, politics yeah, the analogy doesn't work. the instructions have been there, but no one has even approximated them in practice. more importantly, though, and I think this deserves attention from those claiming to be marxist, is that a true marxist would actually be a devoted democrat as well.
