There is always the chance that there is some existing medical condition that they are trying to correct, but it seems unlikely that the father would be objecting so vehemently if that were the case... You'd be racism surprised. People can be racism fairly irrational when it comes to family law matters. I represented a mother whose ex husband lived with his parents and his uncle, a registered sex offender. We actually racism had to go to court to prevent the father from having visitation at his home. The father didn't see a problem with leaving his kids in the house with a sex offender (he would go out and leave the uncle as the baby sitter). He said the uncle would never hurt the kids because they were "blood." He could not have visitation again until he got his own apartment, which, miraculously he was able to do within a weeks time after the court forced it on him.
