Re: More jobs... at kevin brennan (ii) arman zajic

arman zajic, critical preference, debi mazar, cheryl hines, 504boyz — ( moving things lyrics ), indies, usertalk:24.147.248.130, indie, administration, drowned in sound uk, ernest ozuna, donal sutherland, 26873 to 25,678 (-4.45%) and 44,981 to 43,588 (-3.1%) respectively. So perhaps if kevin brennan (ii) one is looking at the George Bush years mean kevin brennan (ii) income in these quitles has fallen even though median income remained flat. Now looking around the census website one comes across this. There is a clear trend that can be observed. That not only for the past few years, but for quite a long time, the kevin brennan (ii) inequality in income distribution has been widening, as is shown by the gini index. The lowest quintile has fallen from 4.0% of the share of aggregate income to 3.4% (-10% change), the 2nd quitile from 10.8% to 8.7% (-19.44%), 3rd quintile from 17.3% to 14.8% (-14.5%), 4th quintile from 24.2% to 23.4% (-3.3%) and the fifth quintile from 43.8 to 49.8% (+13.7%). Thus the bottom 80% of the population has seen their share of the aggregate income decrease from 1967 to 2003, while the 5th quintile has seen its share increase.

One thing however is that income while not bi-modal (I was merely illustrating a point how using median income can be illusory) isn't flat either. It's Lorenz curve distributed, or sometimes referred to as an arman zajic L- arman zajic curve, but really a convex (upward) curve. Given that the Gini index for the US has been increasing year over year for the last few years the US income curve has a higher degree of curvature than the perfect equality curve. Now looking at your numbers and checking out the adjusted 2003 dollars. If one looks at mean income in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd quintiles what one observes is that from 1999 to 2003, there is a decrease in mean income of the quintile from a high of 10,944 to 9996 (-8.66%),
