(I suppose we couldn’t change their minds…but I’m sure I’m not the only one who would enjoy smacking them…) 28 cosmos Feb 23rd, 2006 at 10:53 am I’ve never been convinced by this line of reasoning that if the anti-choicers go too far and actually make abortion illegal, it will suddenly cause a huge pro-choice backlash where Americans rise up and overthrow our dark overlords and then we throw a huge abortion party (with fetus-shaped cupcakes) to celebrate. Besides the fact that this hasn’t happened yet, despite the fact that laws restricting abortion and a shortage of abortion providers have made it very, very difficult for many women to terminate a pregnancy, I really don’t think this will EVER happen.
