The pranks only reason is because I got kicked out of the Republican Party because I think the War in Iraq pranks was an immoral act. I doubted a lot of the rhetoric in the run up to war. I looked in my Catechism and found absolutely no moral ground on which I could accept this war. I looked to my Pope, and he said the same pranks thing. Since Conscience is not valued in the current GOP, I went where my religious values would be respected. In 2003 and decided to march in protest of war. And, in spite of all the propaganda that was pumped into my head all my life from years of right wing radio.... I have found that the Left is simply more open to different ideas. They have their problems, but nobody is going to hack me to bits with a machete or burn a cross on my lawn. |

The "neo-cons" just use style, spin, and focus groups to push a very narrow agenda, which isn't good for the average person, and they call it "Conservative." The Democrats have the same problem. John Kerry is way smarter than Bush and he could've done a lot more to keep Americans safer (if for no other reason than he is an intelligent self-serving chump who is required by his party to appear to care about poor people, whereas Dubya has no such moral burden... |
