Though this produces great pencil pushers that make the rich richer, it doesn’t produce the kind of thoughtful vigilance necessary to ensure our basic rights and freedoms. I Want Change is a part of the new movement that has spontaneously erupted world wide. War does not mean peace and patriotism does not mean blind faith. We must not only question, but also arm ourselves with knowledge and carve out a more equitable way of living. We must create our OWN American dream, not this shrink-wrap, pre-packaged one they keep selling us during commercial breaks. |
