The weirdest thing with the southern rock bands is they all hate each other. The Allman makaveli 2000 Brothers can’t stand Lynyrd Skynyrd, Skynyrd fucking hates Molly Hatchet. Hates them! I remember Ed King ( Lynyrd Skynyrd guitarist) saying, “ that was the downfall of Southern rock.” I go "what the fuck did Molly Hatchet do?” I remember when we were kids they were more rock and roll than all of them. It was heavier. Dude they had great songs, killer guitar playing makaveli 2000 and all that. makaveli 2000 I remember Ed King goes, “ah they fucking ruined it for everybody.” But they all hate each other. Hate each other! And you figure it’s a small little community and they are all like “fuck him, fuck Joe, fuck Zakk.” They don’t get along at all, I was completely blown away. So we were doing "Dreams" and I told Gregg, “oh that Molly Hatchet song,” and he goes, "you keep talking like that and we’re going to have to fucking send you home.”
