Predictability is b-a-d. WordyPost (which needs a catchy slogan of some kind) can do some pretty smart stuff. You can tell it all blogs or just the blog you're on with a true/false. It will display the word count or david sedaris the author or both - each a true/false selection. In order to display the author's name it assumes your bloggers have a nickname identified. I can't remember if always having a nickname is normal b2evo or something I hacked in, but anyway that's what it uses for the author's name. You get to tell it some of the standard b2evolution sidebar thingies like $before_everything and $after_everything and $before_each_thing and $after_each_thing. WordyPost only shows public posts. |

| Lots of hacks, but no limpdicks actual plugins. I saw mattbta's plugin for "topicon" (sorry but I don't have a limpdicks link handy - it's on the b2evolution forums I gave such shit to a few posts ago) and felt if that's all it takes to convert post-specific information to an image if the image exists as part limpdicks of post content then an avatar is a no-brainer. It wasn't as simple as A->B, but it was kinda neat to do. You won't see an avatar here though. I'm the only author so why bother?
