I have been politically active since Vietnam, when I SAW first-hand the concern for poor folk within the party, and the acceptance of those without $$$. That acceptance and support has steadily dwindled since then, and and become harsher and more critical of the poor list of themes themselves, parroting the RW.In the last two years, as I worked on Democratic campaigns, I was more and more shocked at the lack of even simple human concern. If I were to catalog some of the hurtful, hateful things said to me BY "LIBERALS", you would be shocked-- or, at least, I certainly *hope* it would be shocking to you. |
