If the pregnancy is “merely” causing her to risk going blind, having a stroke, eventually dying of cancer, etc. etc. then the exception does not apply and any doctor would be prosecuted if he aborted that woman, even though her health is in jeopardy. If she’s not going to die right this minute without an abortion, then it’s illegal. Or that’s my understanding based on what I’ve read. |
