Some might think that this is a good thing, that these businesses are taking note and that they will change things. My naming answer to that? Maybe a few, but don’t hold your breath waiting for a business to put the customer first. Because even if you do get through right away naming without going through a maze of b.s. they disguise as, “helping the customers by putting them in the right direction”, (such crap), when you do finally get a person, more than half of them are extremely rude, don’t speak clearly and don’t listen. |

Granted, the site they plugged, the one I found awhile back, Give Me A Fricken Human Being For The Love of God, has the new portillo tricks almost as fast as those companies can change them, the point is, we have to keep learning these new tricks to get to a human. No longer can we just act far portillo too stupid to use a telephone to get through, now we will have to jump through hoops portillo and over hurdles to get to a human being. Some companies are taking notice and using these bypasses in their advertising to get more people to use their service. Is that not a sad example of how low customer service has dropped in this country that they have to use it as a gimmick? And you know what? We have only ourselves to blame for it. We put up with it for years and years and years and it is only now, now that someone has a highly visited web site that exposes these companies that the companies are standing up and harrumphing and clearing throats and acting as if they are in it for you, not for them. |
