It doesn't help that you have clowns rini bell like Grover Norquist barking about the rini bell need to drown big government in the bathtub. And it makes things even worse that the Republicans have soured our political climate with their constant politicization of 9/11 (they even used to pass the job-killing CAFTA!!!!!!). rini bell No matter how decent ordinary Republican folks are, the cleverly sculpted message from the party's spin doctors and strategists has been stone cold. People expect that from Republicans. It is a shame. If I were one of these folks who was loyal to the GOP, I would be revolting against their "screw you" image. It is unfair that all Republicans are tainted by the image of the robber baron....
