I have to wonder who on earth thought that cooping people up in the Superdome -- when flooding, power outages, drunk and loss of water pressure were near certainties -- was a good idea.It seems to me that there may be plenty of blame to go around for this mess, but the mess was surely foreseeable enough that local officials could drunk have done a more effective job of getting people out of the city. If it wasn't for your "blue state" brethern, you'd have no trouble letting the rest of us just die a slow and lingering death (and by "us" I mean those of us living in southeastern Louisiana)?Really amazing stuff, there. Very much like Michael Moore lamenting that the terrorists killed the wrong people on 9/11, because most of the people in the twin towers hadn't even voted for Bush.
