We were wrong. Two weeks ago, Krekar was again brutally arrested. The charge was new - attempted murder of enemy PUK forces, (which somehow is "illegal" by Norwegian law) - but beneath the surface little had changed: Insinuations, faked documents and witness statements extracted under torture formed the bulk of the evidence against him.
