However much career more money his family had at his time of birth than Oprah’s did, he’s made exponentially that much more of a difference to the world. Bill Gates changed the way the world plays, works and interacts. Besides the inventor of the printing press, I can’t think of one person who has done with his life to leave such an (positive) impact on the planet. Bill Gates donated 38 million dollars for the building of a computer institute at Stanford University. Gates donates to Habitat for Humanity and plans to give away 95% of all his earnings when he is old and gray. By the time Mr. Gates dies, he will have given donations to charity in amounts that will rival most small countries GDP.
