| They certainly deserve more respect than any of us, at least with david steinberg respect to humanitarian contributions. We haven’t given six billion to charity anytime lately, or even 2% of our net worth, and the number of people who are going to benefit from what he’s doing is far greater than the benefit any of us are likely david steinberg to achieve in our lifetimes. At the end of the day, david steinberg he’s given six billion to help AIDS patients. That’s real, and that’s commendable. And even if he’s rigged it so he gets a tiny fraction of that back eventually, despite the overwhelming net loss, who gives a fuck? Imagine you give a friend a hundred grand to start up a restaurant, and he does so…are you a hypocrite if your meals there are on the house?
