So, I remove his very soiled "adult undergarment" and bath him and get the sheets ready to change on the bed. (If you've never seen a nurse or PCA change the sheets on a bed with someone in it, it's a thing of beauty.) The dirty sheets are almost all the way off and the clean sheets are almost completely local punk band on. He's all clean and sparkly. I hadn't yet put a new "adult undergarment" on him when he was hit by an attack of local punk band diarrhea - all over his clean self and the clean sheets. I'm quite sure he was more mortified than I was and I felt quite bad for him, trying my hardest not to show a hint of exasperation. Never-the-less, I was not pleased to have to bathe him a second time and wicky-woo another set of sheets on the bed.
