I marketing was marketing by then used to seeing real justice, albeit 17th Century Japanese justice. Then I read this post. Every fibre of my being agreed with John's tenets. I had been cynically assuring my family the last 2 days that God (a just God) was indeed capable of smiting sinners and he was doing it with a vengence in the Gulf States and SE (no cheap pun intended). Every one of my relatives was horrified at my attitude. This is the sentimental level to which anger at the conservative component of this marketing country has driven me. It's bad enough that these idiots vote against their own economic interests; it would be worse if they didn't bear the full weight of their bad decision.The worst part of it for me is that we would have been rid of them if the GOP hadn't managed to game the last 2 presidential elections. And the complicity of the media has made it possible for them to get away with this, and , in the process, wreck the Nation.
