I gave him a local punk music death stare and started shaking my head "no." He put the second bunch down, but I was ruined for the local punk music rest of the day. I think I started crying, but I really didn't want my MIL to see me cry, so I had to stiffle it. I understand the sentiment-- he wanted to give flowers to his mom, and he thought I should have them too. |
