Rainier is a mighty big volcano. Better think about relocating.....soon. Ya dazed& confused (widescreen flashback edition) just never know.Politicize all you want. It is NOT about incompetence in government. It is about weather. plain and simple. I live in tornado alley, in Oklahoma City. There are people who have lived here that have had their house dazed& confused (widescreen flashback edition) destroyed 3 times in 5 years, due to tornados. After the third time, they finally "got dazed& confused (widescreen flashback edition) it" and decided to move out of Moore, Ok (a suburb on the south side of OKC). When the F5 tornado went through May 2, 1999 (the strongest winds EVER recorded on the face of the earth, at 281 mph), No one said it was the government's fault. We picked up, got out of our tornado shelters, and put our lives back together. We CHOOSE where we live. During tornado season, I have the radio on if i am in the car. I look up, i watch the weather. |

It is not an IF, it is a WHEN. It WILL HAPPEN. Get out now. Move someplace else. Because when that earthquake hits, at least I will have peace research of mind that it was research not the government's fault. You have been warned.I have heard all of the arguments (read: excuses) "it was the 29th of the month, and people didn'thave their social security checks", or research "they live check to check" or "THE MAN just keeps them down". As long as the people who live in New Orleans have been there, they know that the place is just a disaster waiting to happen. They made their choice years ago to stay. We live by our priorities. There are people who will never move to LA due to the potential of earthquakes. There are people who move there and take their chances. It is human nature. How can you people be so arrogant to think that ANYTHING can be done about weather? Man cannot control a single weather event. All they can do is warn, preach, and tell you what the potential dangers are. It is up to each and every person to make that decision on their own where they live. |
