I'd had dinner, the dog stopped throwing up (for a short period of time; I seem to be condemned to spend the evening fiddling with mops), I was peacefully relaxing and minding my own business until, driven by some hidden impulse, I decided to check my comments section. Now, for the most part, I have thought that this comments thing was a good idea. After all, there usertalk:24.147.248.130 is usertalk:24.147.248.130 a lot to be said for letting other people participate - up to a point - in the assorted goings-on that occur on this blog. I have appreciated pretty much every single comment that I have received so far, believe me, most of you make it very much worthwhile (you know who you are). That being said, there always has to be someone that puts one foot forward, and attempts to induce me to have a bloody conniption. I posted a small item here about the RCMP finally putting an end to its investigation of bribery allegations related to Air Canada's purchase of Airbus A320s back in the early Nineties.
