| yes, it is a part of history, but it's in the past. we are now the usa and you should be proud of that! also, how can all of you say the confederate flag is not a symbol of hate? in history class, war criminals we watched numerous videos on school desegregation, and all you saw outside the schools were a bunch war criminals of white southerners waving the confederate flag protesting against it. the KKK and other hate groups also use it as a symbol. how do you not expect millions of other americans to believe the "it's heritage not hate" bullcrap? war criminals find another symbol for your "southern pride." and another thing elizabeth - you need to practice what you preach. you tell northerners not to stereotype, but you call the north a "cesspool of crime and filth" (which it is not - you've probably never even been passed the mason-dixon line!) |
